Wayne and Kat’s Blog

Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Wayne Parker and Kat McCarthy from Brantford, Ontario, Canada. We have two cats, Whiskey and Socrates - the party animal and the intellect - who are our entertainment and our examples of living in the moment and simply expecting wellbeing.

We are ordinary, every day folks (as much as anyone is ordinary anyway LOL) like most others. We have family, dreams and aspirations, come from moderate backgrounds and do our best to earn our keep in the world.

If we believed in soul mates we would say that we are that. We are two who are one while remaining individuals living in harmony with one another. Is there a secret to a loving, conflict free relationship? Absolutely, several in fact. It is our intention to demonstrate some of that through some of our posts.

We are both well enough educated though like most of our readers, we have found that our education allowed us to work hard and survive. It’s become clearly evident to us that if we want a little more in life, we need to look outside the traditional modes of earning a living. In 2002 Kat set out to hone her writing and coaching skills and Wayne began educating himself to create web content.

New skills were a great idea but only part of the equation. It wouldn’t matter what we created if no one knew we were creating it, so marketing became a question. Our preference was and is to work from home and on the internet, so learning to market on the internet became imperative. Our studies of Internet Marketing looked much like it would look if a 6 year old decided to learn calculus; we didn’t even know what questions to ask so this part has turned out to be a long cold journey. We have to admit though, it has been fun!! If it seems to be taking forever to build this blog into something, now you know the reason. We still have to figure everything out as we go and sometimes that is a time consuming endeavor.

Our intention is and always has been, to find a way to integrate our work into our life and play so that the ‘work’ was unidentifiable. We call it “productive living” and we have arrived. We have much farther to go, far more things to learn and everyday is an unknown adventure. It’s been an outstanding journey and we would like very much to share that journey with you here in our blog.

Recently we decided that we want to join the RV crowd spending much of our time adventuring and exploring. We have thought about doing the RV thing for a long time however, it only became possible since we created our business in box (laptop) that now allows us to go anywhere and still be able to stay on top of things. We are starting from zero in the RV world so it is our intention to share that entire journey with you beginning to end.

We both have decades invested in to being students of personal evolution and the law of attraction so no matter what we are writing about, you will likely see that there is a common thread woven through everything. Our greatest joy in life is being contribution to others and so it is important to us that we be that. That is the main reason we started this blog, so we could share what we have learned and are learning. We hope that our sharing will offer you a tidbit or two that will make your journey more joyful and fun.

Sometimes we will recommend a product or a program - which we do not do lightly. if we are recommending something, it is because we have tried it and found it to be of huge value to us. We are also aware that just because it works for us, doesn’t mean it will work for you, so take a look and decide for your self. The things that have supported us in the biggest way will have their own pages which are easy to find through the tabs at the top of the main page.

It is our hope and our joy by sharing our experiences and our very real situation, we can encourage you to live the life you have always dreamed and hopefully assist you to find some of the pieces you need to help make that happen. This blog is one way that we share ourselves however, we also run an internet based magazine with articles written by us and some of the people we admire. The magazine is called The Magic Happens: Wayne, Kat and Friends, Thriving Out Loud. Pop by and have a look, you may enjoy what we have created.

Another way we intend to share ourselves with you is through an ebook that we are working on right now with the intention of releasing it before the spring of 2008. The book is called ‘Manifesting Your Desire’ and is a collection of everything we have learned on the subject of Manifestation and Law of Attraction in the dozen or more years we have being working with this material. We hope that we can answer some questions you may have bumped up against that you haven’t been able to find satisfactory answers for.

Well that’s it for now. We thought it would be silly to tell you our life story here on this page as that would leave us a whole lot less to write about in the blog. We would love to hear from you and hear about your adventures. Please be kind and leave us a note so we can get to know you a little bit. Hopefully, you will be making regular stops in to visit with us and it would make the whole experience much nicer if it was a two way communication.
